Rationality is a funny thing. When we think we are the most rational, we usually are irrational. Our tiny human intellect cannot sometime comprehend when and where we are going wrong. I would like to argue that rationality is also....a human thing. Our ideas are only.....as big as us. Is it not something created by humans, to comprehend the cosmos? I would imagine someone like Spock from the Star Trek universe to have a completely different approach. Imagine their gods, their culture. Its completely alien to imagine so. Yet, we humans , especially a special branch of humans ( extremist scientists) claim that "everyone can be rational" and everything can be "boiled down" to physics and logic.
