On the Shoulders of Giants
This is the first possible general purpose computing device called ENIAC. It was developed in 1945, merely a 75 years ago. And this is Fujitsu Fugaku, the Japanese Supercomputer which is currently the fastest computer in the world. I'm not even going to try to measure the differences between their computing speeds. No one can comprehend anyways In just 75 years, we went from 0 to some crazy off the scale number! I know not many people bat an eye, but this is startlingly fast. Nothing has been this fast in growth in human history. Period. I personally cannot understand how the ENIAC worked. It is not comprehendible by the mind of one average guy. But that's the beauty of human knowledge, it doesn't depend on "one guy". It is the sum total of all the knowledge we humans have ever gained.
