My thoughts on Solitude

Solitude is a very special state of mind. Most people do not wish to dwell into this. It's a state of mind that can give you a peaceful vibes or equally destructive thoughts.

Personally, I'm a solitude seeking guy. You see, people and social connections are important yes and also, they are very essential for maintaining basic mental stability, but this lets you have no thoughts of your own. Everything you do and say is either a copy of someone else's mannerisms or a view of their ideas.  On the other hand thinking, it's different. Thinking is something that can't be replicated. As an example, two mathematicians solving the same problem. They might take the same approach in solving the problem but they won't think about it the same way. It's never the same thinking.
In my country, India, being a silent guy is very stereotypical with being a genius. Though the trend is changing, other than the youth themselves no one else understands what youngsters are going through.
The way I see, more and more youngsters are left with meaninglessness, nihilism and self-destructive thoughts. All of this is evident in websites like Reddit, 4Chan ,etc. Though it is sad, it wasn't inevitable.

I like to think that when all of men and women learn philosophy or at least the very core essentials of it, they will lead a better and a happier life. And part of that experience is dealing with solitude. It will become one of the core values that can help you manage you mental state through your life. In my view, solitude, leads the way to appreciation of aesthetic beauty which in turn help you achieve a higher state of mind. Everyone should learn how to deal with solitude. Deep thoughts are what makes a life more beautiful and meaningful.
I'm not saying that it is necessary, people can go through life without ever having a single moment alone except for basic body maintenance. But thoughts like this, help you make more meaning of our actions and our roles in this society.
