The True Nature of Randomness

We humans are pretty funny beings. We think we are at the center of the world, always, and that the world was "made" for us. Though there is a certain percentage of people who know this try to behave otherwise. I think that evolution has shaped us to be like this. Always trying to reach out to some "ideal form" of life.

"We should live the greatest lives possible."

"We should live like kings and queens."

"We deserve to live a good life on this planet."

But true life is not like that is it? It is something more real....something more pure.....something that isn't optimistic as us. The universe doesn't give a shit about you or your goddamn achievements. You could achieve the status of Steve Jobs, Alexander the great, or any other great guy, but ultimately, we all die. Life is inherently meaningless and all we do is find our own meaning to live out some 80 years( Average human lifespan?) and to then die.

This line of thinking is called existentialism and it is a major school of thought in philosophy,  A totally badass guy called Fredrich Nietzsche is one of the founding fathers of existentialism.

Though existentialism is a pretty common term nowadays, it was something that Nietzsche intended that everyone know. He wanted people to rise in their quality of thoughts. But I've realized one thing. Not everyone can have great thought processes. It is highly dependant on their birth conditions and environmental factors. Sure we can have a true genius born in the slums. But without the right guidance, and education, talent might be wasted which is what happens most of the time.
Sometimes, I feel that I have done nothing but show off that I am "better" than other people. I dunno if it because people around me say so, or because I know about things the average person doesn't know. I think that this kind of egoistic thought is driving me to an edge of a cliff.....a point in the future when something bad happens and I'm kinda insulted by everyone and my morals will be shattered by some incident, I am afraid of reaching that point.
I am afraid of being "one of the herd" ( Nietzsche's words!) . I am afraid of not standing out. Though many smarter people exist than me, I sometimes feel threatened by their presence, just because their existence acts as a reminder that I am not smart. I would like to think that I am not a random person who is born on this earth for no purpose....I would like to think that I was born for something special. I would like to believe that I can change the world....
And yet, all of that is horseshit. Whatever you do, wherever you do, amounts to nothing more than helping the human society. The Universe doesn't give a shit if Newton discovered gravity. It doesn't give a shit if someone cures cancer. It doesn't give a shit we if save 2000 species of animals. It truly....doesn't give a fuck about you or anyone else in the world. It takes time to absorb this. As it took for me, but it gives you a new perspective to work on.
Something that is way better than your old outlook.  It's summarized in these few words from the popular TV show Rick and Morty.

Despite all this egomaniacal thoughts of mine, I truly want to help someone who is smarter than me, understand my perspective. I sometimes feel that without people smarter than you banging you down with arguments and facts, you will never grow....in fact for you to grow, you need to face more of these people, get royally badgered and then learn how they did.....what they did to you. I would genuinely feel happy, if someone were just kind enough to sit with me and make me understand the depth and beauty of the universe. I genuinely want everyone, as a whole to grow in perspective and thoughts.

Yes...I am dumb guy who has conflicting views, the hallmark of a 20s guy. But what the hell, what would be the worst thing that would happen if some random person on the internet gets to know about some other random guy on the internet who is dumb? Maybe a few roasts, a few insults, but in the end, the person would at least think about the thoughts I spoke of. You, my dear reader, could have done anything in these few moments....learnt about quantum mechanics, worked towards solving hard maths problems and having a nice conversation with someone. But you decided to read this post. For that, I thank you. Adios

When you can truly understand what I tried to write here, you will be depressed....sure, but only for a while. Then when you start to see the world in this light.....I guarantee you...it gets better.

Anyways, that's it for this post. Leave a comment if you want more boring, depressed shit like this.
