Rant about Beauty

Image
Everybody has their own version of beauty. Some have real life models as a role model for beauty, some hold themselves as models of beauty. But that is not the kind of beauty I am talking about here. Today I want to talk about aesthetic beauty. Before I go on...take a good look at the picture below, Its a  nice painting isn't it? Most people see nothing beyond it. Hell, today's photographs are wayyy prettier than this painting. But a painting is judged based not only on its beauty.... but also it's significance. For me, a painting is an expression of an artist's conception. It is something he/she ( Go Gender neutrality!) works on for a certain period of time......it is something different because paintings are never produced with the cold hard rationality of science. It is produced based on the artist's mood, his feelings, his thoughts... That is the effect of great art....they are more than just some colours mixed together, sometimes, they speak to us....artists w...

The True Nature of Randomness

Image
We humans are pretty funny beings. We think we are at the center of the world, always, and that the world was "made" for us. Though there is a certain percentage of people who know this try to behave otherwise. I think that evolution has shaped us to be like this. Always trying to reach out to some "ideal form" of life.  "We should live the greatest lives possible."  "We should live like kings and queens." "We deserve to live a good life on this planet." But true life is not like that is it? It is something more real....something more pure.....something that isn't optimistic as us. The universe doesn't give a shit about you or your goddamn achievements. You could achieve the status of Steve Jobs, Alexander the great, or any other great guy, but ultimately, we all die. Life is inherently meaningless and all we do is find our own meaning to live out some 80 years( Average human lifespan?) and to then die. This line of thinking is...

Crumbled Greatness

Image
We all know how the influence of great people of the past presents itself on the younger generation. Whether it be Pythagoras in giving us the Pythagorean theorem, or Nicholas Copernicus to introduce us to the heliocentric model of the universe, great men have always held a shining light for budding scientists and researchers.  Even in our modern culture, there will always be an "Einstein of the class" in every standard, also "Newton" who always gives these deep( but boring) thoughts. Generally no one knows any "geniuses" who are currently living except in rare cases( like Stephen Hawking, who also passed a few years back). This is because people are not recognized for who they were and what they did, but what they actually contributed to science. These men and women produced breakthroughs in science in their times, which absolutely blew most of other scientists minds. For example, take Madam Curie for her breakthroughs in radioactivity, or Nikolas Tesla ...

The First Post

Hey random reader. You have decided to enter an online cave of stupidity, naivetes and maybe.....just maybe some interesting stuff. Please don't expect me to follow "language of etiquette" here, because I am one of those guys who doesn't care about how something looks, as long it conveys the idea. I am what you could call a internet buff. I live on the internet. It is a dangerous, yet beautiful place. I prefer to compare the internet to the peak of a mountain.... it is beautiful up there . Yet a small misstep could plummet you to death.  All of the information I write and I will write are mostly influenced by various personalities on the internet. What you can expect in this blogsite is my various takes on how the world works. The small things that people miss out. I will take you through a mind of a early 20s procrastinator. My aim in writing these blog posts are to reach out to people who have similar ideas that I have , and also to influence people who don't h...
